Terrible experience

We booked a Founders room at the Chicago Athletic Association to celebrate our engagement. A Founders room is like a suite with a fireplace. Upon check in, we were informed that our booking showed up as a basic King room, not a Founders room. The difference between the room they gave us and what we had reserved was outrageous. We were put into a small, near windowless room at the back of the hotel. The hotel staff were unhelpful and rude. There was no hospitality involved. They said it wasn’t their problem. We ended up leaving the hotel.
