Limited dog amenities

Hampton Inn Southlake

I stayed here with my cocker spaniel in January. The hotel was quite busy and located on a road off a busy street with food options. We were on the top floor, but near exit stairs to dog relief area. Stairs are concrete and stairwell echos a lot. We ended up using elevator for pets comfort. Dog relief area was covered in pine needles, which my dog was not used to and got stuck in her fur. Although the hotel's location was convenient to our travel from Michigan to Florida, I wouldn’t stay here again with my dog.

We did receive the pet policy and a door hanger designating our room as having a furry friend. There is a sidewalk along the street the hotel is located on that we might have utilized if we had arrived in the daylight. For the humans the bed was comfortable, but I found room dirty and dingy. Breakfast was okay compared to most Hamptons I’ve stayed at in the past, but the number of guests staying in the hotel may have had to do with limited items available.
