Perfect place for you and your pup!

After reading other reviews I realized what made our day really special (and stress free!) was some planning. We visited mid March 2024 and was completely aware you can not bring dogs on the tour inside the house. We had planned on spending the day strolling the gardens, the outside of the home and then driving down to the other areas of the estate that are along the river, bike path and farm area. We packed a picnic and knew where that was allowed ahead of time. Its one of the most dog friendly places we have been! There were a lot of other dog owners and so many friendly people! Our tips: wear good walking shoes, check for excellent weather and enjoy a picnic!
