Like a dream
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham DuluthEverything was what we hoped for our nervous Old English Sheepdog: accommodating check-in, low-traffic part of the hotel, and a very quiet room.

Unbelievable noise
Comfort Suites Madison WestThe room itself was as expected, and we looked forward to having a bit more space with the suite with our large Old English Sheepdog. However, as the night wore on, we realized we were put in the middle of a block of rooms that was a nonstop party that spilled into the hallways. Sounds of a loud party next door, which ended at 3:00 am, and doors slamming all night long as the guests visited each others rooms. I phoned in the issue to the front desk around 2:00 am, and he said he’d look into it. Nothing came of it. We got zero sleep (literally zero), and had the dangerous task of having to continue our long distance drive the next day. Would not recommend this place. They either do not have or do not enforce quiet hours.
