Boomer gives it 3 paws
Sleep Inn & Suites Elk CityVery dated. Carpet was stained. Only 2 plugs worked to charge devices. Lots of area to walk but all full of stickers. Boomer decided to stay on the side walks. Staff was nice. Hard to find driveway entrance off the I-40 on/off ramp. GPS directed us to a Loves gas station.

Twin Mountain Inn & SuitesRoom on third floor. Boomer wasn’t sure about elevator. Nice, friendly staff. Clean room with balcony overlooking river and gas fireplace was a nice addition. Easy to get to and not on the main busy street. Not much area at hotel to walk dog but a nice walk down the street. Nice dog park around corner belonging to a campground but we used every day. Easy to get to Smoky Mountain and other attractions. Breakfast good selection. Limited seating in dining area. TV remote was difficult to work.

La Quinta by Wyndham Memphis WolfchaseNice friendly staff. Clean room. 1st floor room and laminate floors instead of carpet were appreciated. A bit tight for a large dog but workable. Some nice green areas to walk dog at hotel and around area. Some nice food options around. Heater/AC system didn’t work.

Great for small dogs
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Albuquerque Airport an IHG HotelRoom was nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Only has a very small area of artificial grass for dogs. My lab sniffed the whole area in less than 5 minutes. Was next to a veterinary office. In general, it was ok.

Great place for a large dog
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Amarillo West an IHG HotelNice room. We got a mobility access room so it had more room for larger dog. Shower was more warm than hot and hair dryer didn’t work so I had to go to the front desk with wet hair to get a new one. But lots of green areas around to walk my dog and felt safe walking. Breakfast was good but not many places within walking distance for food.

Door locks need maintenance
SpringHill Suites by Marriott Oklahoma City AirportWe had to get new keys three times and had to try them several times before they would work. Even maintenance guy couldn’t get it to work. Staff was pleasant. Many homeless people around. Felt very uncomfortable leaving my car. Breakfast was excellent and there were many places to eat nearby. Lots of grass areas to walk dog.

Clean and great for dogs
Best Western Plus St. Louis West WestportGreat location. Edward Jones campus next door great place to walk your dog. Good breakfast. Clean room. First time for my dog in an elevator.
