Staff needs more training
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Costa Mesa Orange CountyThe staff was very friendly upon check-in at the front desk, but they were not processing the credit card correctly because it kept requiring a PIN that I already knew was correct and it kept declining. I asked if they were processing the card as credit and they said yes, but typically a credit card does not require a pin, or they were not trained properly on how to override the pin entry to process it as a credit card. There was nothing wrong with the card I was using and there were definitely funds in the account, so I think that their staff needs better training at the front desk. I ended up having to go find another hotel because they would not let me use the same card again after 3 failed attempts.
