How's the Water.
Rosie's Dog BeachI took one of my dogs there once. This may be an anomaly, but the break in the low wall that allowed us to get on the beach, itself, stank so strongly of urine my dog would not go through, so we had to go down to the next one. The beach itself was nice enough, and the people and hogs were all very nice, but the Water was disgusting. My dog and I went in, no more than knee deep, but the waves do splash. Anyway the "seaweed" around my foot turned out to be toilet paper. If that wasn't enough both Missy and I had to get medical care for a bacterial infection which both the vet and my gastroenterologist said came from ingesting contaminated water. Again I hope this was an anomaly but I could never go there again.
