No longer dog friendly

We've gone to the Habit so many times and LOVED eating on the patio with our very well behaved dog. Today we were told dogs are not allowed so we had to take our food to go and eat in the park. It really surprised us since The Habit has long been dog friendly. I looked up the city ordinance and apparently The Habit needs to apply for a permit for Paws on the Patio approval. The fee is only $315 and then $100 for each year renewal. I certainly hope they will apply for the permit. After being told we weren't permitted to eat on the patio today, I sort of lost my taste for The Habit and have no plans to return until they get the permit.
