Decent hotel for dogs
Best Western Kimball InnRooms could be a bit more clean (mildew in shower and random dirty socks behind the bed), but otherwise very clean and pet friendly. Our pup loves staying here. Pet walking areas are minimal. It’s sufficient.

Difficult stay
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Prairie du Chien WIThis hotel claims to be pet friendly but dogs are not fully welcome. Do not leave your dog in the room even for an hour. They do have a policy noting this which is very unusual compared to other high-end hotels which allow crated dogs to be left in the room. Also access cards didn’t work the last few days and you will hear every stomp in the rooms above you. The one positive was the very nice and professional young man working the front desk. 5 stars for him!
