Wow, Make sure you plan your visit accordingly or you may miss the opportunity to eat the best softshell crab ever! Outdoor seating, dog friendly, scenic view! Cockrell’s is only open till 3 PM, and since we were only in Reedville for two night’s, we made a point of putting it on our must do list. We were not disappointed! My spouse and I both had the soft shell crab sandwich with french fries, coleslaw, and ice tea. The crabs were perfectly seasoned and fried, squirting delicious juice with every bite. The bun was nice,t warmed, soft, buttery and tasty, complementing the crunchy delicacy of the softshell crabs. The tartar sauce was also wonderful, seasoned with fresh dill giving it more of a gourmet taste. Make sure you map it out for lunch or early dinner! You’ll be glad you did!
