Great Dog Place, Terrible cleanliness

We visit Mackey’s every time we come through Ontario. They have a great covered patio with misters. We have been there when it was in the 90s and the patio was comfortable. The food is good and you can order extra protein for your dog. Very Dog Friendly.. But this last visit (8/2022) the patio was a trash heap. Open garbage cans, stacks of uncleaned empty bottles, sticky counters and the smell of rancid oil. The flies controlled the area and old fly strips loaded with flies hung in several areas. This was a Wednesday evening, so I imagine it had been that way for some time. Even with a Bug-o-Salt we would stand no chance. We ate quickly and probably won’t be back.
