Good Start, Bad finish
Best Western Plus SikestonSmooth check-in and friendly personnel. Property looked clean and fresh. Told the door closest to our room and the dog walking area was hard to open. There was a problem with card reader. I got the impression it’s been like that for a while. There was a bag dispenser in the dog walking area but it was empty. As were getting ready to go to sleep, I saw a roach on the TV cabinet. It was late and we were tired so we let it go. I looked around to see if there was some food or more roaches and noticed behind the cabinet next to microwave and refrigerator were filthy. I looked in the refrigerator and saw a couple of uneaten meals in styrofoam containers.

Not Going Back!
Quality Inn Gadsden - AttallaNon smoking room had strong odor of smoke and there were no other rooms available so they gave us a can of Lysol scented spray. The room was dirty, hair on floor smudges on counters but price was very good. As we were packing in the morning saw a roach crawling on the wall. That was the icing on the cake for the Econo Lodge. Told the clerk about our issues as we were checking out and asked for manager. Manager was out of town but she said she would let him know when he returns.
