Nice location

When we arrived at 4pm (check in time )are room wasn’t ready so we left & went to the beach for awhile waiting to receive a texts from the front desk lady letting us know are room was ready. We didn’t receive a text so at 5:30 we headed back to the hotel hoping our room was ready. It wasn’t!! They gave us another room which wasn’t a Forrest view & very small for the price . The front desk person apologized & gave us to passes for a free breakfast. That was very nice of him don’t get me wrong. It was my Moms birthday & I really wanted to pamper her & was looking forward to the room we booked. My Moms dog is diabetic & requires insulin which needs to be refrigerated. The refrigerator in our room only stayed on for 2 hrs at a time. We had to wake up every few hours to make sure the insulin stayed cold. Property & hotel were nice but there wasn’t a lot of places for the dog to go to the bathroom & no grass area. They did have poop bags & gave us a bag of milk bones which was nice but wouldn’t say it is the best pet friendly hotel.
