Great setup - comfortable room
Residence Inn by Marriott TopekaSpacious room near stairs made it easy to walk her - Plenty of grassy area. A nice desk, convenient to lots of restaurants.
No Extra Dog Perks but Welcoming
Drury Inn & Suites St Louis Fairview HeightsIt's a nice hotel that I would stay at any time. Spacious room, close to restaurants that you could even walk to. There's no dedicated pet area, but plenty of room to walk your pet for relief - I always bring my own cleanup bags. They had breakfast, which during COVID was above and beyond!
Renovations
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Kansas City LenexaPros: super cheap. No pet fee. Big dogs ok as well as more than one. Close to several well know BBQ restaurants. The suite room is enormous so my lab could play and move around without destroying anything. We got be of the renovated rooms which was nice.
Cons: no dedicated dog area. The strip of grass is on a busy street and littered by passers by throwing out food items and trash. The back of the hotel has a lot of construction debris and discarded items like toilets and cabinetry. Typical with construction dust and crap gets everywhere making common areas look dirty.
It’s during COVID so probably worse than it would normally be. Still is stay here again.
Wonderful!
Sonic Drive-InIt’s a small but well-kept off-leash area where your baby can get relief (supplied pickup bags and a dedicated trash) and stretch their legs. You can enjoy a treat from a Sonic with drive through as well as stall service.
