Fantastic Hotel!!!

Hotel was beautiful and so comfortable and quiet. We loved staying here. Breakfast was great with all bread and muffins individually wrapped. Social distancing with one way thru the buffet. Staff was very helpful. We will definitely be staying here again. Only downside, and it wasn't really that bad, was that booking thru BringFido and we got second floor and a long walk from our room to the elevator, then walk out thru the lobby outside for the dog. Wish we could have been on the first floor and/or closer to the elevator. Otherwise it was perfect. And dinner was .3 mile, nearly next door, to the 1720 Burger Bar that was also excellent. Ordered over the phone and picked up to eat in our room. Delicious!!

Not great

Cons: Lobby and halls smell like old smoke. Room wasn’t as bad smell. AC was subpar. Room was warm & musty and floors and carpet felt damp, maybe humidity? Grass area for dog had a lot of poop not picking up. Pros: room was right next to back door and on first floor. Hotel has grocery, liquor stores and a few restaurants. We will not stay there again.

Disappointed

Only employee we saw was young woman outside smoking and went inside ahead of us. She was very nice and helpful…I thought. I asked about where to eat and get a drink. She gave me a list of restaurants and highly recommended a pizza place saying they deliver food and beer to the hotel. She also recommended a great pub across the busy road. We had our dog so called the pizza shop. He asked for the hotel address and informed me it was too far for them to deliver. I said they were recommended by the hotel and that they said we could get food and beer delivered. The man got upset and told me they were a Muslim restaurant and didn’t even have alcohol on their premises. I went to the front desk to tell they woman working their but she was nowhere around. The front desk was vacant and accessible to anyone. I waited for 15 minutes and even called the front desk and no one answered. All while a family and others were arriving to check in. One of the ladies waiting to check in walked around and said she checked the ladies room and couldn’t find anyone.

I finally went back to my room and had better luck calling the pub across the street for food and they also sold me 2 six packs of beer to take back to the hotel with the food. The hotel smelled and the bed was not properly tucked in, but seemed clean with new sheets. The nightstand had sticky rings on it, so I used Lysol wipes to clean it and then the remote and other areas just in case they hadn’t been properly cleaned. Breakfast was just some English muffins, white bread, packaged mini-muffins and apples. I asked about decaf coffee and was told that one of the urns marked regular coffee was really decaf. I medically can’t have caffeine so I didn’t dare drink it. Areas to walk the dog were 2 spots that were very small and a third spot that was a steep hill. We won’t be staying there again.

Great Pet Friendly hotel

Great stay at this hotel, thanks to BringFido.com. Food was good, hotel and room was very clean, staff were so nice and helpful. Only downside was we had a long walk to our room with our luggage, even though it was on the first floor. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel

Very pet friendly rooms on the first floor. Easy access to car parked outside our room. Hotel was clean and staff very friendly. Will stay there again.
