Not recommended
Motel 6 Texarkana ARWe left because the door would not lock. The room was not very clean and smelled vaguely like a urinal. People were wandering around in the parking lot and walkways and seemed friendly but I think they were planning to party and we were not looking for that atmosphere. The dogs didn't want to go in the room at all but even without them we would have left. We drove on and found another hotel luckily!

Friendly staff
La Quinta by Wyndham Tyler SouthNice room, friendly staff, mowed area to take dogs and a larger un-groomed area. Lots of restaurants and the like. But Tyler had grown since we were last though there and the traffic was heavy. It was easy to get out of town from this hotel however! We have stayed a other La Quinta's with dogs and had an equally good experience. Nice breakfast. We paid a small pet fee for our third dog. We called ahead so we knew about it ahead of time.
