Room was NOT clean
Comfort Suites Normal University AreaI am not picky. I am fine with a clean basic room while we are traveling, but this room was NOT clean. There was vomit, urine or worse as a thick streak going down the front of the toilet. Additionally, WHICH IS THE GROSSEST THING EVER, there were a TON of tiny black pubic hairs (yes, not joking... although I wish I were). We had arrived late in the day after driving for almost 11 hours and finding another place to stay late in the day, would stink. We slept on top of our dog blanket from our car, which is wayyyyyy cleaner than what we arrived to @ the hotel. Additionally, our door was obviously kicked in one time at least because it was all busted up and looked like someone has tried to fix it. Just super disappointed in the cleanliness. It is unfortunate.
good hotel
Hyatt Place Busch Gardensthe bed & the pillows were ruff lol (sorry) but truly the rest was fine.
Awesome hotel & welcoming to fur babies
Best Western Plus Fort Stockton HotelHotel was updated, room sizes were great. They welcomed you with a doggy treat & clean up bag (I thought that was great).
Good for dog - bad for humans
SureStay Hotel by Best Western BlytheThere is a grassy spot (granted on busy road) for you to take your dog on in the morning right next to the hotel - and they were totally ok with my pup... HOWEVER, the rooms were VERY small and VERY, VERY, VERY old. Towels were not white any longer that is how old they were. Just YUCK, bedding looked a million years old and I was terrified to look any further, the shower was GROSS, the curtain had something on it not sure what and sink backed up when brushing your teeth. Now I am totally cool with a holiday inn express or something like this but this was the equivalent of an hourly rental hotel from the movies. Bummer! Looks like it has a nice pool (didn’t use it just going through and needed to stop for the night).
