Beautiful but other issues!
The Westin Chicago NorthwestI always inspect rooms before allowing the dogs in. While the visible areas were clean, I found change, sunflower seeds, TISSUES, AN EMPTY TISSUE BOX, AND A HALF DRANK WATER BOTTLE under the dresser/bed. Everything else was clean so when I called the front desk to let them know so they can make note of whoever cleaned the room, they did offer a new room but at this point I cleaned it myself and the bedding/bathroom was clean.
Then, there was a huge wedding. I was on floor 9 and could hear it (open atrium to all floors) or screaming people running by... meaning random barks. I got a call that my dogs were barking. I will openly admit if my dogs are obnoxious, I've gone on 2 hour long walks at late hours to wear them out after travel. They were not barking outside of the person screaming in the hallway causing 15ish second if barking which I quickly redirected to a chew toy.
Then, I order breakfast... there was plastic in it :(
Theres 1 set of main elevators and no quick way to get your dog out... no ground floors... it starts at floor 3.
The positives: theres a beautiful pond/lake with a walking path in the back for the dogs and was an aesthetically appealing hotel with a starbucks and restaurants.
