THE worst hotel we have ever stayed at
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham SalisburyIt's hidden in the center of downtown Salisbury, without signage, in a medical complex. After a twelve hour drive we had to call the front desk to ask for directions. This very nice and patient person told us we were practically at the hotel's front door - and we still couldn't see it. No signs. Reception was fine, but this hotel is in bad, bad shape. We had a 4th floor room - tough with a two year old pup,. Physically, this hotel is beat up. TV didn't work. Ice machine down the hall didn't work. Internet was so weak we couldn't bring up basic sites like Facebook. By the time the garbage truck came by at 4:30 am to slam the containers around, we were pulling out of the parking lot. This hotel should not be listed on BringFido. If I had checked the TripAdvisor reviews I would have seen that there were dozens of more "Terrible" reviews than Good/Excellent. Just a bad, depressing, scary kind of place we would never intentionally visit in this lifetime. (Maybe in the next life if one of us is very very bad.)
