Nice spot but needs upkeep

This is a pet friendly space BUT we were charged a fee, although there was no mention of a pet fee charge when we booked. When we were checked in and unpacked we received an email requesting payment for the fee. We did not think this was fair given that there was nothing noted in the description.

The space, although decorated for the current trends, is in need of some major work outside. There are so many pine needles everywhere and the eves are full of them, some eves have seedlings growing in them, and downspouts are missing.

There are some obvious unfinished or poorly finished things like flooring, patio door and window trim. Many windows do not have screens or handles to open them. The kitchen water pressure was very low, the main floor shower needs grout work, the ceiling light in the main floor bedroom was dirty, the patio door tracks were dirty, and the patio furniture was covered in bird droppings.

There was good WIFI, but no cell service. The renovations may have been done downstairs, which are VERY steep to negotiate for seniors. The outside needs some attention, painting grounds clean up eves, downspout replacement or reattaching. Interior carpentry work, floor and window and door trim. The coffee bar was cute but the kettle needs descaling If you bring your fur kid you cannot walk past the property line in the one direction, just the road you arrive on. The property is very hilly, and not much grass because of the abundance if pine needs and leaves that are everywhere.
