Definitely NOT up to LaQuinta standards
La Quinta by Wyndham Bonita Springs Naples NorthRoom was not good. It had a bad/musty odor. Air conditioner was very noisy and every time the room above us flushed their toilet, you’d hear what sounded like water running down the wall- kept us up most of the night. When asked how our stay was, I said “Not Good” and the lady, without even looking up said “good”! I questioned her with “Good? We won’t be staying here again” and her response (again not even looking up) “Oh Good, you’re all set.” That’s someone who is just going through the motions and doesn’t care. For the location of Bonita Springs and the cost of the room, I expected more. Have had better experiences at other LaQuintas for 1/2 the price!

No ocean view rooms for guests with pets.
Guy Harvey Resort on St Augustine BeachPet rooms are all on first floor on sides only - so that’s disappointing. Our room door would not lock and remote didn’t work - after 1/2 hour of waiting on repairs, we were given another room and comp’d the pet fee for the inconvenience. Location is right on the beach and although the rooms are disappointing (old, furniture marred, in need of a paint job) they are clean and the hotel is undergoing some renovations as others have stated. The common areas are nice and they offered to extend our check out time which gave us an extra hour of morning beach time. Great area.

Location, Service, Value - UPDATE
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Orangeburg SCThis was a great spot. Close to the interstate but tucked away that you didn’t hear traffic. Places to eat and gas right there. Hot coffee, cookies and lemonade available when you check in and throughout the day. Staff was super friendly and there is an outdoor gas fire pit . Plenty of grassy areas to walk the fur baby. Will stay here again.
Stay #2 room was not good, carpet on 2nd floor is bad- our room was dirty, floor was dirty and worn. The couch / chair were stained. Hairs in the shower. No tissues ... coffee was very weak - we left and went to McDonald’s to get a better cup of coffee. Will definitely NOT stay again.

Needs Updated
Sanibel Island Beach ResortLocation is great as the resort is on the beach; ask for an ocean view room. There are hammocks, ping pong table, covered picnic tables, bikes to rent, outdoor pool, bar, covered outdoor seating areas. The room had a Keurig- bring your cups. Rooms need updated and yes, per other reviews, there are gaps with door seal. Staff is friendly and onsite restaurant is good.

Nice quiet neighborhood
Comfort Suites near Rainbow SpringsGreat night’s rest. Very clean facility, staff was friendly and breakfast was good for a hotel. Pet fee is a high at $30 but the room was very nice - tall ceilings, king bed, couch and footstool and a modern shower - no tub.
