Interesting but hard to review...

Rodeway Inn

This place is not going to be everyone's cup of tea; it's a failed convention facility, so it is lovely on the interior (don't let the exterior put you off), though largely vacant. The staff is kind, helpful, pleasant. The accommodations are VERY quiet. The beds are comfortable, the rooms appointed nicely, though there is evidence of a more elegant past that is no more, ie, work station desk with disconnected connections and curtained-off unused rooms. The rooms being used, however, have good wifi and cell service. They are appointed well, and the place is so-o QUIET. There IS a pet fee. It is not reasonable to truly rate, either, as we're here during virus crisis, but there was a nice grab-and-go continental breakfast with nice yogurts, fruits requiring peeling, cereals/milk, the usual morning drinks. Overall, it was comfortable, quiet, reasonably priced, staffed with responsive folks. It was also just a little spooky, as it is a space focused inward on a large, enclosed courtyard that is empty but for green plants, a lit fireplace, and a sofa. It is well-lit, there is an elevator, and the parking was plentiful! We were glad to have it, as was our little dog!
