Nice Shady dog park
Manchester Dog ParkI've visited this park a few times when driving though Connecticut with my pup. As is true in all dog parks, it can be hit or miss. Most people/dogs we met were very welcoming. We had one bad encounter with an aggressive dog snd an irresponsible owner, but fortunately they left, complaining to someone on her phone about "overly sensitive people". Oh well. Other than that, we have had a great time at this park.

Nice Dog Community
Valley Street Dog ParkWe have visited Valley Street a few times on our travels though Portland. There's an open field and wooded slopes for your pup to explore. I met some of the nicest people here, and my dod liked the other pups too.

Great Dog Park for a Wooded Adventure!
Quarry Run Dog ParkQuarry Run is easy to get to from the highway if you're traveling through Portland. It's mostly shady with trails up a hill to a gazebo where people like to sit while dogs play. Nice people, nice dogs. My pup loved it!
