Damp Floor
Travelodge by Wyndham Angels Camp CAThe guy checking us in was friendly and very accomodating. He appologized for the computer being slow and explained that he usually isn't there when guest check in. I would have give him a high rating even though he wasn't wearing a mask during a pandemic, he was very nice and professional. Too bad the room was lousy. The poor rating was due to the wet carpeting! At first I assumed it was from steam cleaning since It seemed to only be small area that didn't quite dry, and afterall it is pet-friendly room. Unfortunately, that really wasn't the case. It turns it it was from a design flaw with the wheelchair accessible shower. The way the bathroom is set up makes it difficult to keep water off the floor. By the time we figured it out no one was at the desk to ask for a room change and when we checked out in the morning no was there either. We left our room key on the counter in the lobby.
