Great for Dogs and People!
Holiday Inn Express Bellingham an IHG HotelI love that they don't stick pet guests in a crappy second-class room like some hotels! The staff was super friendly and helpful, there were ample clean and safe areas for the dogs to take a break. Our room was exceptional in every way.
The complimentary breakfast was a real bonus, as were the many restaurants nearby for dinner. The sports bar in the front parking lot (Extremes) had fantastic BBQ and an impressive tap list.
I highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express for a stopover with your pets!
Wish I could give it 1/2 a bone rating!
Days Inn by Wyndham RoseburgOne of the worst hotels I've stayed in! Apparently "pet-friendly" to them means giving pet owners the most run-down and dirty room in the place. The carpet was disgusting, the furniture was old and broken, the bathroom had holes in the walls (some of which were half patched), and the walls in the room were dark, dingy, and in desperate need of paint. The TV remote did not work, and there was no ice bucket, or drinking glasses in the room. As previously mentioned, there is no true "pet area". Just a place near the chain link fence in the parking lot, which has no grass, only dirt, and rocks. The young man at the front desk was polite, professional, and helpful. That is the most positive thing I can say about my stay.
Convenient Location
Best Western Garden Villa InnIt is conveniently located right off I-5 near gas, food, and shopping. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room could have used some updating, but it was clean and comfortable enough for our 1-night stay. The grounds have a pet area dedicated for potty breaks and plenty of room to walk about for the dogs to stretch their legs. The hotel was quiet and safe.
