Quality Inn Spring Mills Martinsburg NorthA large grassy vacant lot next door made for comfortable walks away from traffic. Room was well placed on the first floor and reasonably appointed. On this hot and sunny day, dining opportunities were not great. The free breakfast was thankfully a good step up from "continental."

Clean, courteous and convenient
Holiday Inn Charlottesville-Monticello an IHG HotelNice room, well kept, with gracious staff. There's a boatload of dining and retail options at the mall just down the road, and convenient next to I-64. There are small patches for dog relief but a modest greenway trail just past the neighboring Starbucks. Next time I'll request a dog room closer to ground level, and maybe test out the in-hotel restaurant and bar.
