Very nice one night stopover
Hampton Inn Ft PayneHampton Inn was very pleasant for a one night stay on a long road trip. Room was clean and comfortable. The dog fee of $75 was too high compared to other places we have stayed.
Very nice facility
Spark By Hilton WinchesterWe drive between New Orleans and New York with our two dogs. One of our stops is in Virginia and we are so happy to have found the Wingate by Wyndham. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is cheery and the staff is friendly, and our dogs were happy. We will be staying here again for sure.
Good location for our needs
District 3 Hotel Ascend Hotel CollectionWe drive between New Orleans and New York with our two dogs. Our first stop is Chattanooga so the location of this hotel is good. We have stayed here three times but we will not do so again. The hotel is dingy, the rooms are small and unattractive. The staff is indifferent. And the fee for pets is $25 each bringing the total bill to close to $200. No way it is worth it. The best thing is that there is a fenced in dog area. And the pool is nice.
Adequate, but not great
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Chattanooga-Hamilton PlaceWe stayed for one night on our drive from New Orleans to NY. The hotel served our purpose. It was convenient to the highway, low dog fee, and good price. The room was comfortable. I would not stay here for any other reason.
Great for a one night stopover with Fido
Best Western Lexington InnThe hotel was fresh and clean. The king bed was very comfortable, nice mattress, and bathroom hygiene good. Lots of grassy areas for our dog. In-room coffee maker and ample fresh breakfast served. We will stop here again.
Will not return
Red Roof Inn GadsdenWe drive from NY to New Orleans and the location of this hotel is a good overnight stopping point. The room was clean, the beds and shower were good. However there was no coffee available in the morning even though we were told there would be, and no coffee maker in the room. No breakfast of any kind was offered. We know because of covid some places are not offering dining room fare but they are offering a small packed breakfast. There are many other choices of motels that take pets and offer at least coffee.
Convenient location
Quality Inn Stephens City Winchester SouthWe were driving from New Orleans to Long Island NY with our 2 dogs. We drive 8-9 hrs a day and then sleep so we don’t need fancy. The bed was comfortable which is most important for our purposes. But the hotel is badly in need of freshening and updating. There was lots of grass to walk the dogs. The fee was $20 per dog. The young woman who checked us in was very nice. The morning staff were indifferent. There is good Italian/Greek restaurant with take out next door (Roma Casual).
OK for our purpose
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Chattanooga - Lookout MTNWe drive from New Orleans to Long Island NY with our two dogs. We stop along the way twice after 8 hrs of driving. La Quinta was in a good location for this. It was reasonable, clean, and comfortable. Nothing fancy but fine for our overnight.
