Dated and don't enforce policies

We booked this hotel at the last minute because it was dog friendly and the closing on our house was delayed. The room was relatively clean, but extremely dated and worn out. Mask policies during the pandemic were not being enforced and I ran into several maskless patrons and employees. In addition, our final night we had to relocate to a different room on another floor because cigarette smoke was seeping into our room in a supposed non-smoking hotel. The staff were helpful and apologetic, but we were offered zero compensation for the hassle. I definitely would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to others. Not a good first impression.
