False advertising
Aloft San Antonio AirportThis is a new "brand" of hotels for us altho they are owned by Marriott. We didn't research it very much other than the great reviews on BringFido.
Checking in for me was a breeze. She was quick and thorough. At first glance this is a hip hotel. Bar is open, there's a pool table! Once into our room, it's hip and modern. If you follow this page or roadtrip it's almost a game over my germ phobia. I spray everything down anyone will touch with microban then wipe down with a white washcloth. This one was filthy. For being just about new it was really dated and worn out. Housekeeping wasn't cleaning just changing linens and changing towels. Spraying with Lysol on all over surfaces. Shower had black hair in it. Bathroom had black hair all over it. Walls are so thin you can hear every day conversations. Even in the hallway. One gentleman was trying to have an agreement with a family member (wife) across the hall and we could hear every word. Would not recommend and not stay in this chain (boutique brand) ever again. Price was just as much as pricier hotels.

Great location! Rooms needs deeper cleaning!
Comfort Inn I-17 and I-40Upon checking in late clerk was beyond friendly. Room at first glance was ok but it was not clean. Carpets were not vacuumed and Lucy wouldn't stop smelling carpet or walls which tells me there was urine everywhere. And my dog is a snob. Bed was very comfortable but noisy like sleeping at your grandmothers house. Water pressure was fine and water was hot.
Breakfast was grab n go bags of either donuts or heat and eat jimmy dean biscuits. After getting sick at last hotel (my issue not hotel) we passed and got on road. When checking out hubby who had been up at crack of dawn looking for coffee was pretty sure poor front clerk lives there which makes for long hours.
