Filthy ... but (mostly) friendly

The person who checked us in was unfriendly and wasn't even aware that the hotel offered a dog beach area to all guests. Once to our hotel room, we found that the floors were filthy. When I took off my shoes, they were black within 5 minutes. There was no welcome mat to collect the sand so it just traveled everywhere in the room. The picture on the wall had a cracked frame and there was no microwave in the room (as advertised). There was also no bath mat provided. We also received an additional $60 charge from them AFTER our stay and have no idea what that was for. Some of the staff was super friendly (Brenda was awesome and most of the day staff was nice) and the dog beach was pretty cool, but the overall experience left us underwhelmed.
