Great location, very old and needs updating badly but clean.
Bridge Bay Lodge at Shasta LakeHad a view of the lake and train bridge so that was cool. Very quiet. Bathroom hasn’t been updated since the 60s (maybe 50s). But it was clean and comfortable. The Chinese take out from the menu in the room was the best we’ve had and super big portions and fast delivery! Not really anywhere to walk the dog. But overall OK/good experience.

Excellent All Around for Large Dog Travel
Residence Inn by Marriott BakersfieldPristine, fresh accommodations, large, grassy dog area with trees, very quiet, staff very friendly. Best place ever for traveling with a large dog. (It's Bakersfield, so not much to say about the location. We found it, so there's that.)
