Nice hotel, few amenities
Sheraton Louisville Riverside HotelGreat location by the river. Hotel good sized and clean. However normal amenities missing: no microwave, no mini refrigerator, no breakfast unless you paid $17 for buffet. I asked if there was complimentary coffee or hot water. Nope, only in your room. Great area to walk your dog. Three restaurants in walking distance.
Don’t stay here!
Baymont by Wyndham Midway TallahasseePaying over $100 for a one night stay we were amazed to find several towels in our room with big holes and thought they were rags. Floors were dirty, could not walk bare foot. Microwave in room filthy. Breakfast was horrible: Little Debbie type chocolate rolls, juice that was more water than juice. No fresh fruit. Did have a waffle machine. Rude staff. Beds clean and mattresses acceptable. First and last time at a Baymont. Cheap, cheap except for the fee. Definitely avoid!!
Dog friendly, but lackluster
Red Roof Inn MurfreesboroReceptionist was very friendly and enjoyed connecting with our pooch. I do not plan on returning as overpriced and virtually nonexistent breakfast. The worst part was no elevator, so if you have mobility issues, call ahead to see if first floor rooms are available. No first floor rooms available so as seniors we did not appreciate lack of an elevator. I would not recommend.
Dog areas
Quality Inn Exit 4Nice expansive grassy area for dogs. Lots of amenities: indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub, whirlpool, exercise room, hot buffet breakfast. Would stay here again. Clean basic rooms.
Not recommended
Best Western Maritime InnRoom was horrible, floors and bedding wet from excessive humidity. Toilet seat broken. Clean, but outdated and run down. Very little grassy area for dogs.
Basic place
Best Western Kimball InnClean, basic room. Not very good area to walk or toilet dog. Have to leave property for any green space. Acceptable but nothing to rave about.
