Stayed Less Than 5 Minutes... Fleas

Let me start by saying I realize I am booking a cheap room and I don't expect a 5 star resort, but I do expect my pets to be safe. We checked in after a long drive. I went in to the room to go to the bathroom and brought one of my dogs with me. While I was in the restroom I was disgusted to find fleas climbing up my legs. I grabbed my dog and ran out of the room. I found three fleas on me after I left the room. I went to the front desk and told them there were fleas all over and I had to leave. They refused to give me a refund because the room was prepaid. Luckily BringFido was awesome and secured a refund later. I ran to the pet store, bought and applied flea spray to my dogs, their kennels, my car, and myself (Luckily the dogs are on Advantix). We booked another hotel and I removed 7 fleas from my dog before I threw her in the bathtub for a rinse. Another 8 fleas removed and even more washed down the drain. I can only imagine how badly that room must have been infested for her to pick up 15+ fleas in less than 5 minutes! DO NOT STAY HERE!
