Good customer service, terrible location

We arrived and were assigned a room in the back corner of the hotel. When we went to park near the room, a homeless person appeared be living in their car in one of the spots. There was lots of trash in that area. Receptionist was gracious enough to move us to a different room. When I walked my dog in the lot, there was quite a bit of traffic from people who did not appear to be guests of the hotel (i.e. circling the parking lot) making me uncomfortable. We ended up checking out around 10pm and not completing our stay. Would not advise staying here even though there was a security guard that made several trips around the hotel.
