Great stay
Best Western Plus Albert Lea I-90/I-35 HotelAfter a long day of travel from Ohio we found this hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and even greeted our dog Charlie as we entered. Our room was comfortable and clean and right down the hall from the side door that led to a grassy area. Breakfast was wonderful and there were so many friendly people here. We will stay here again when we travel this way.

Bad first impression
My Place Hotel - Davenport/Quad Cities IAAfter waiting an extended time to be acknowledged at the front desk so we could be checked in, there was a wet spot on the carpet in our room upon first walking in. The beds were comfortable but the lady working at the front desk that evening was not manning it very well as I went back downstairs to tell her about the wet carpet and she was in a room behind the front desk yelling at someone on the phone. The gentleman working the next morning at the front desk was friendly and attentive.
