They are trying...
First Choice Inns at the SwellThis hotel is on the edge of becoming a good place to stay. It has recently been purchased by a new owner who is working to improve their space and their services. It was okay for our stay in that there was a green space next door at a museum as well as their own front lawn with lush green grass in an otherwise barren land. The downside was not being able to leave our dog in the room unattended (even if crated) so that we could go to dinner across the street. There were several housekeeping issues - but as soon as I spoke to the front desk, they apologized and immediately remedied the situation. The carpet in the hallways looks worn and dirty. They worked hard to provide a hot breakfast. Overall the experience was uneven. I hope they can continue to improve!
