Decent enough place very close to the beach

So I need to say upfront that there is nothing wrong with this place. It's a little older, and maybe it could use a bit of polishing. I have no idea whether it has wifi. The pet fee was reasonable. We had a guy try to get into our room in the middle of the night--he wasn't trying to break in, he just was positive that was his room. While it was bizarre, I do not fault the Edgewater Inn for that.

There is a Waffle House in the parking lot of the hotel and your room key gets you 10% off, so that's worth considering if Waffle House is your thing. I thought the bed and room were good enough. There was a small fridge and a microwave. The shower was clean, and the water was hot. We really didn't come looking for more than a clean, safe bed. It is also about 300 yards from the beach. That is really handy. It is also one of a very small number of places that accept dogs at all.

For the price, this place is absolutely worth considering.
