Great Location With One Drawback
Hotel PacificDogs are allowed and we saw/heard many during our stay. Room was nice and clean and spacious. Only downside is that they do not allow dogs into the dining room where breakfast is served, so my wife and I had to take turns eating breakfast while the other stayed with our pooch. Staff was very friendly with the exception of one lady who works in the dining area.
Nice Dog Friendly Hotel
The Westin San Diego Gaslamp QuarterThe only reason I am giving the hotel 4 bones rather than 5 is that there is no specific area that is part of the hotel where dogs can "do their business." One must leave the hotel and find a suitable place - there is a small park around a block from the hotel that served this purpose. The hotel is large and very comfortable and our dog was treated like the member of the family that she is. We have stayed in dog friendly motels where I can take my furry daughter outside in the middle of the night if she needs to go. Unfortunately, that did not occur on this trip because I would prefer not to walk a block in the middle of a city in the middle of the night if she had to go.
