Best Western Plus Midwest Inn & SuitesMy room was dirty. The toilet had remnants on it from the last person's stay. Dog food found around the room. Didn't feel as though the rest of the room could be trusted. Don't think I'll ever stay there again. Also a room right outside the elevator and dog was on alert all night long. The dog relief area was full of feces. Don't understand when there's a can and poop bags why owners can't clean up after their dogs. If you can't clean up after them then find a kennel for them.

La Quinta by Wyndham EffinghamNice place to stay. They did seem to have a lot of road work crew members staying there. A lot of men hanging inside and outside the building which made me nervous as I was traveling alone with my dog.
The room was very nice except I was right outside the elevator and my dog was on alert all night long.
Pet peeve is PEOPLE DO NOT CLEAN UP AFTER THEIR DOGS!! There's literally trash cans and poop bags all around the hotel. Make sure you clean you dogs paws unless you want to share the fecal matter of 1000 dogs before you.
