Paper thin walls and lots of dogs
Motel 6 Las Cruces NM - TelshorProbably due to the holidays but it seemed like there were dogs up and down the hall. The paper thin walls and ceiling also meant my dog heard every footstep above, out in the hallway, or when another dog made a sound. Room was clean and staff were nice.

Cheapest in town and it shows
Motel 6 Alamogordo NMNo one was at the front desk at 6pm and I waited 30 min to check in (along with 2 other customers whose card keys didn’t work). The room was not thoroughly cleaned and the AC rattled off and on all night resulting in a poor nights sleep. The bed was comfortable, so there’s that.
