Not Pet Friendly

We went to the restaurant on a Thursday evening and although most outdoor tables were full, there were still one or two empty. We have a big and friendly dog and when the male host saw us he said there's only 1 table that they allow for dogs and that table was taken. I asked if I heard him right and that they only reserve 1 table for dogs.
He confirmed and said I would have to wait 2 hours. Notably, the one table that they reserved for people with dogs was taken by people who didn't have a dog. He knew we weren't going to wait 2 hours as it was already 7pm.
We left to find another restaurant as so many restaurants in Delray are actually dog friendly, and as we were walking away, the people at the "dog" table finished and left and no one was waiting to be seated. I watched for a few minutes and that table and several more remained empty. The host was not forthcoming and this place is not dog friendly
