Great little stop.

My two dogs and my husband and I drove to Champaign the night before the eclipse, then got up and drove to Carbondale in the morning.
We had an entrance on the side we used instead of the lobby. The room was a typical room. And even when my dog barked at times, no one chastised us.
It was what we were looking for- a low key hotel we can bunk with our dogs without costing a front leg or a hind leg.
