Dog friendly
Comfort Inn Civic CenterPlenty of potty area, was mostly clean. Nice room but overpriced imo. Was well occupied hotel but quiet nonetheless.
Huge potty area
Quality Inn Oneonta Cooperstown AreaGreat area outside to walk dog around. I loved the bed, super soft sheets. Had lots of issues with tv. Although the check in person was very helpful when asked, was not forthcoming with any hotel info. I would stay there again however.
Good news bad news
Executive InnThe staff not engaging, and there was no coffee or continental breakfast. Lots of room to walk dog though I did find a tick on my pants afterwards. But! Do eat at Rey San Jose Mexican Grill! What a delicious surprise.
Super friendly staff at super run down hotel
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hot SpringsYikes. The headboard was peeling it’s yuck onto the pillows and there was no coffee pot or cups in room although there was a coffee maker and coffee. Very run down, they had me on 4th floor, dog did not like elevator and there was hardly anywhere for him to poop. But, best staff I’ve encountered these past few weeks.
The last resort
La Quinta by Wyndham Bowling GreenYikes, staff were nice but so unprofessional. I had to roll a towel up and put in at bottom of door because there was quite a gap, letting in all noise and it was noisy. At about 10:30 pm I stuck my head out door and yelled to the group playing board games in breakfast area if they knew whose dog was barking, and they said no but dog stopped barking soon after that. All this stressed out my all ready stressed dog. I will never return to that hotel.
Very close to highway
The Cranberry, Ascend Hotel CollectionI liked this hotel so much I decided to stay there extra day on my way back. But bring your earplugs because this is so close to highway. Golf course next to it was friendly when I walked dog over there.
Great location
Bavarian Manor Country Inn & RestaurantHuge area to walk your dog! This place has so much charm, it must have been something in its heyday. Sadly the restaurant and bar were closed so if that’s important to you, double check. Off the highways, nice and quiet. In the morning I only heard birds, no traffic. Would totally go back.
Uh-oh
Black Mountain InnThe best thing about this hotel was the lobby. Dog area was really small and covered with poop and some of the other guests were questionable. I would not stay here again.
Better for pets than me
Baymont by Wyndham ElizabethtownNo problem with pets, but hotel too close to noisy highway and outside so lit up room wasn’t dark enough.
Quiet yet close to day and nighttime fun
The Happy HollowJust a cool place. Nice and small and super pet friendly.
