Issues with staff

Hampton Inn & Suites Mt Juliet

I arrived after driving 12 hours exhausted. I was instructed by front desk woman to provide a payment method for my stay. I did as she asked, then I recall seeing the reservation email from BringFido that said my payment was made. She tried to convince me that there was no payment made. After sharing the confirmation email, she proceeded to charge me for the pet fee. I asked if it was policy to charge for a service animal? She in turn removed the charges. I was just looking forward to going to sleep but found myself having to engage over finances.

She provided 2 keys at which point I went to my room on the 5th floor. I attempted to gain access with the keys, the first key failed to open the door and displayed a yellow light, I grabbed the second key out of disgust and attempted to open the door. You guessed it, it would not work only displaying a yellow and red lamp. I dropped my belongings with my wife and proceeded back down five floors to seek assistance. Upon advising front desk of the issue, she promptly turned, walked in the back office stating she knew what the problem was. A few moments later, she appeared from the back room with another key but this time with an orange sticker and instructions that, she definitely needed me to return the key. Back up to the 5th floor to meet my wife and service dog. The door was opened and a bit of relief was provided. I promptly crawled in to bed to acquire the much needed rest.

I awoke the next morning and proceeded to grab breakfast. I had full intention to discuss the prior issue with a member of management. I opted to consume food first. I grabbed my breakfast and while I was eating, I watched the front desk trying to identify the manager. What I saw was a very unprofessional employee consumed in her phone, I continued with my breakfast while watching for another member to arrive. Alas after 45 minutes of eating, I proceeded to the front desk to engage with the internet savvy staff member. I proceeded to asked questions about my encounter last night and received salty deflection. I couldn’t help but notice the ear buds hanging out of her ears, I found it unprofessional at best.

I was told by her that she was the only member to assist me. I knew with the short interview that engaging with her would not have a positive outcome. I proceeded to call me credit card company to advise them on what had occurred and to look for the double charges. I was told it would be 48-72 hours before the charges would show. What a complete circus!!! Training was not on the agenda apparently for these two members and it clearly shows. Very disappointing!!

Do Not Stay Here!!!

Days Inn by Wyndham Owensboro

Ordinarily with a title like this, you would think that a disgruntled contributed to the experience. Nope I truly am warning everyone I can about this place!! I have had no reason to question the prior selections on BringFido; I have never been disappointed with the experiences until now. Upon receipt of the key I opened the door to the room immediately saw the filthiness of the room. It was one of the moments where I had to look for bed bugs it was so bad. I went to the manager's desk and shared my experiences, they relocated me to another room.

I asked to inspect this room before taking possession. Upon opening the door to room #2 I was overtaken by the smell of pine cleaner. Being an old Navy Salt, it reminded me of the days in the Navy. Further inspection room was not any better. I reached out to BringFido and shared my experience to include photos of the concerns and was reimbursed for the room. While I appreciated the prompt refund, here we were in Owensboro during an event that drew 5000 or more people to the area and needed to find another suitable room. We ended up driving 30 miles west to Henderson for accommodations.

Hilton Garden Inn Mt. Juliet

Let’s just state that the reason for my rating was mainly due to the inconveniences in my room and the lack of attention to details when raising these concerns to the staff. Room lacked adequate signal for the television, water pressure for the sink was limited to a trickle, shower had limited hot water. Staff appearances were unprofessional with exposed tattoos and under trained especially when addressing stressful situations; I observed one employee go into a panic attack while trying to accommodate another guest. The sliding door where breakfast was being served did not respond to key card. The door had to be pushed open to gain access. Housekeepers never cleaned the room in our absence.

First time experiencing

Baymont by Wyndham Clinton

Traveling south from Indiana, it was necessary to get some much needed rest. My travel golden retriever was with me. A call to BringFido netted us a great room for us.
