Outstanding value

Pleasures: clean, quiet.Very comfortable bed. Helpful desk clerk. Small market almost next door. Half a block to the Lombard Gate to Presidio, with spacious dog park just inside, where people and dogs were very courteously friendly. Good quiet heating/cooling with thermostat on the wall. Good shower. No cutesie doggy-decor (a plus in our book). Good price for the area and the amenities. Breakfast was fine given COVID conditions; choices of mostly packaged items, on tray to carry to room, with toast choices prepared as requested, hard-boiled eggs --- for the circumstances, nicely set up.

Drawbacks, much outweighed by pleasures: our comfortable king-sized bed nearly filled the space, just room to slip through between bed and chest of drawers to small closet, bathroom, desk. The tiny fridge had no freezer compartment (but it was quiet!). No doggy "bathroom" area on property, which for our country dog meant walk to dog park was necessary so she could function.
