Very nice accommodations but not many food options

We had a really nice room on the ground floor by choice and our 15-year-old dog loved it, too. The staff is very helpful and friendly. But there is no hot breakfast (except Fridays to Sundays, we learned AFTER arrival), and no supper. We found a terrific Italian place not far away and could sit outside so we managed. But this is the second I-287 upscale hotel since early June that did not have ordinary food services and that is a downer for travelers with dogs. We have stayed at the Sheraton before and will do so again, but we will be more insistent to learn what the food services are on the next trip through. The value for the room was good, and we saw a nice outdoor pool area.
