A great place to stay

The extra mile
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Frederick MDSomehow, the reservation through "BringFido" did not relay two 75 pound Labs. The desk clerk in a kind and frustrated way verbalized his limitations. It is greatly paraphrased, "I have no more pet friendly rooms, I have a 50LB maximum, etc." Somehow, someway, with my Labs both sitting patiently by my left side pleading our case in good behavior, he managed to accommodate us. We had a crappy day that looked like it was not going to end well. Ten minutes later we were comfy in our rooms and putting the awful day behind us. SUPPORT THIS HOTEL! Treat the hotel with the respect I know pet owners can show. More than once I have heard again paraphrased, "I would rather take people with dogs than people without them." My Labs do not do well on a leash doing their business. Space to do that here is limited. But, even so traveling this way again I will stay here because of their awareness of how good pets can be good customers.

Great location!
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Abingdon VALots of good things going on here. Convenient to the HWY, clean, no carpet in the rooms, ceramic tile. The space behind and on one side of the hotel is fenced so doggies that are not good poopers on a leash are semi confined. All side of the hotel are well lit for a late night walk. The walking area is long enough just a bit narrow between the hotel and fence. It gets the job done. Gas and food are adjacent to the hotel. All the hotel amenities are up to speed. I am traveling with two labs. We did great.

Great location
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Winchester VAThis is a very suitable location and hotel. If you have dogs need a little of leash time the back side of the hotel is fenced with a good fence that will keep them away from the road. The space is not huge but adequate. There is a pleasant sitting area (patio) there for quiet time with them. The hotel staff does a pretty good of cleaning the rooms. No pet odors or pet damage. It is not the Ritz. But very suitable. Plenty of restaurant choices.
