Not dog friendly, and not friendly period
Legal Sea FoodsWe left the harbor location despite having called ahead of time. They also didn't come out and say the dog was a problem, just kept hemming and hawing about where to seat us, after a 45 min wait despite SEVERAL tables being completely empty on a patio for which you can't reserve tables.
So we went to another restaurant nearby that is truly dog friendly and spent our money there!
Dog and baby welcome on the patio
Granary TavernWe arrived as a party of four adults and a baby with dog with no reservation, crossing our fingers that the BringFido listing was correct! We had already tried Legal Seafood and were turned down even though we had called ahead and asked. Another place by the harbor only accepted service dogs.
The Granary got us set up on the patio (which is what we wanted anyway what with covid), no questions asked, no hassle, no wait. The food was good and the wait staff were friendly. As a Mainer, I heartily recommend the lobster roll. I was skeptical of non-Mainers being up to snuff in that category, but was proven wrong.
