Left something to be desired
Best Western Point SouthThe location is good because it’s just off the highway but the area was sparse with only a couple gas stations, a Wendy’s and a Waffle House. The room was clean but dated and the mattress was very soft. Also, just off property someone was burning trash which left an awful smell in the air. However, the ladies at the front desk were lovely. We found this hotel to be very pup friendly. Both our girls received a little doggie treat bag upon check in.
Nice hotel and good location
Quirk Hotel RichmondThe hotel was beautiful and was about a five minute walk to Charlottesville’s downtown mall. The front desk staff was great, especially Josue. However, I did have a couple issues with the Quirk. I didn’t find it particularly dog friendly. There was a nice grassy area to the right of the hotel but they had no doggie station, luckily we always have dog bags with us. We just had to locate a garbage can to deposit the bag. Also, we were charged a $25 valet parking fee, even though we never used the valet. I did try to contact the hotel for a refund but never received a response. A little disappointed.
Perfect!
Casablanca Inn on the BayBeautiful historic Inn! Great location, just across from the bay. Our room was clean, cozy and wonderfully decorated in period decor. Abby, the receptionist, was very friendly and welcoming as was the rest of the staff. They were also so kind to our pups and very pet friendly! Will be returning!
Good location and clean
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bel Air/I-95 Exit 77AThis was a last minute booking and for the money, it was good. Staff was friendly to us and our pups. Room was clean but could use a little updating.
