Average is the aim
Red Lion Hotel Portland AirportThis hotel seems to aim to be average. I will note they have major construction next door at the moment, so hopefully it improves after.
The rooms we had was nice, clean and everything seemed to work.
As for my dog, he loved going through the construction site after hours, but other than that, not to many great places to take him for his business. The grassy area along the highway was overgrown and full of garbage (not the hotels fault)
Noise level is a bit high this close to an airport, but all in all this hotel is average.

Squirrels a plenty
Lowell Park Off-Leash AreaThis is a great park, the fenced dog area is nice with food space for your pup to run off leash. The rest of the park is nice to walk on leash, and the oak trees have plenty of squirrel smells! Lovely location as well easy access from I5
